2014 is the Year for Craft Beer in Memphis

2014 is set to be a big year for craft beer in Memphis. At one time Ghost River and Bosco‘s were the sole breweries in Memphis. Now there’s Wiseacre (Broad Avenue), Memphis Made (Cooper Young), and High Cotton will soon be extending it’s taproom on Monroe Ave.

 

Several new growler filling stations have opened around town..with new ones coming along all the time. The Memphis Business Journal cites a new report about craft beer makers in Tennessee producing 5,397 jobs and contributing more than $445.6 million to the state economy in 2012.
