The growth and popularity of Overton Square and Cooper-Young have now pushed a Memphis transportation company to start a shuttle connecting the two hotspots. Premier Transportation Services CEO Ham Smythe says:
“While the vehicle is part of Premier’s fleet of passenger buses, it has been custom-fabricated with a one-of-a-kind character that embodies the service and sits atop the vehicle. There’s nothing else like this vehicle on the streets.”
The new shuttle will be only $2 per ride and will run every 20 minutes. Their website will have a live GPS to track where the shuttle is, and there are 12 stops between Cooper Young and Overton Square.

Stay tuned as we attend the 3:00pm press conference today for more details. The shuttle will begin its route immediately afterwards.
